Hi!! I’m Alison and I’m SO excited about meeting all of you guys! I’m fifteen years old and finishing grade ten. That’s, like, the first clue I’m from Canada, eh?!! Let me tell you a little bit more about who I am. I love the Lord and have grown up in a wonderful Christian home (I am blessed to have the very best brother in the whole entire world!) I love sports of all kinds — I’m on the high school basketball, volleyball and track and field teams and I’ve competed in downhill ski racing (brrr…!) and triathlons. I love anything to do with numbers and making things and people efficient and organized (though not always my room!). I’m one of those brown-nosed students that teachers love and does well in school. I play piano and trombone, and I LOVE listening to Christian music. I also enjoy being with my friends, reading books, cheering on the Ottawa Senators (NHL), spending summers at my cottage, and traveling with my family. I absolutely adore young kids and so one of the harder parts for me on the Ambassador Team might be saying goodbye to the children at the end of the month! One final thing… With new people, I’m initially somewhat shy and feel a little more comfortable listening than talking – so I hereby give each of you permission to poke and pry and draw me out of my shell! That’s me in a nutshell (pun intended!).
